Winter fun for families in Alta Pusteria
Alta Pusteria is a very family-friendly ski resort! Small winter sports guests especially enjoy themselves at the "Dwarf expedition", where they are accompanied by certified ski instructors. The ski instructors do not only teach children how to ski, they also accompany them on a discovery expedition through the forest, where children get an insight into high-alpine nature.

The ski resorts in Alta Pusteria feature several winter playgrounds for children. An example hereof is the WinterWonderWorld at the Prati di Croda Rossa in Sesto: the gigantic snowmen and ice castles are renowned far outside Alta Pusteria, a 5 km long adventure toboggan run, excursions on reindeer-drawn sleighs, and the playground for children await families.
A sledging adventure at Monte Baranci or at Croda Rossa is enjoyed by old and young. The ice-skating rinks in Sesto, San Candido, Dobbiaco or Villabassa provide a great alternative for a skiing day. The "Acquafun" adventure bath in San Candido with gigantic slide, counter-current canal, waterfall, Jacuzzi and children's pool offers fun for the entire family.
