Nothing happened. Since he imputed among the black throats and screamed: "Green Forest manikin, don't you dare?" Suddenly it rumbled through the chimney down and the manikin stood in the middle of the table. Since he said: "You drunkard, you have mocked me!" The little man claped on his leather pants and shouted wildly: "Up, hui, up!" At the top of the saddle, before the high mountain let it sleep for ever. They are still top, twisted, bend and sprained.

Spitzköfel

Why the Lago di Braies is called also the savage lake of Braies

Ages and ages ago, there lived savage people in the mountains. They weren't bad, but their build was like the mountains. In those days there was a lot of gold in the stones and the savage people loved the shine of the gold, but it made her hearts and souls hard. Later on came sheepherds in the valley of Braies and put out to pasture their animals on the flowery meadows under the peaks. The savage people showed them the gold and sometimes they gave them golden rings and necklaces they forged in the mountains. The sheepherds were attracted by the gold. They stole gold from the savage people when ever they had the opportunity. The savage people and the sheepherds began to quarrel. The savage people were stronger, the sheepherds were craftyer. But the savages opened springs. A great water came into being and separated the valley from the mountains. So the sheepherds had no more possibilities to get gold. The savage people created the lake therefore it is calles savage lake of Braies.
