Nature experience trail at the Lake of Dobbiaco
In 2000, the Department for Nature Parks built a circular trail around the Dobbiaco Lake. Information about nature is presented in an interactive and playful way - for adults and kids, for nature lovers and those who would like to join the club. In particular, school classes can find an ideal teaching environment in the midst of nature. It will take you approximately 2 hours to finish the trail. Families with small children and prams can use the circular trail without any problems.
The teaching trail has 11 stations. At every station, visitors receive detailed information about the flora, fauna and geomorphology of the region. At some stations, visitors are given the possibility to test his/her practical abilities related to the subject. At station 9, you will need some takeoff power as you try to measure your long jump abilities with those of the forest's inhabitants. What do you think: who will win?
