In the heart of the Dolomites-"UNESCO World Natural Heritage" you can find the ski resorts of Alta Pusteria in the 5 villages of Sesto, San Candido, Dobbiaco, Villabassa and Braies. The biggest ski resort "Monte Elmo", can easily be reached by cable car from Versciaco or with the panoramic cable cars from Sesto. This ski resort offers 21 km of perfectly groomed slopes, and also snowboard freaks can find everything they long for.

Also the world-renowned Olympic slope "pista olympia" in Cortina is only a few kilometres from Dobbiaco. And the Plan de Corones ski resort with a total of 90 km of slopes can be reached within 20 minutes.

Mountain restaurants and ski huts in the Alta Pusteria valley
A skiing holiday is more than just trying one slope after the other. Take a break and regain strength in a mountain restaurant or in one of the many ski huts in the ski-area of the Dolomites of Sesto. It is warm and cosy inside, and outside the sun shines and you can breathe fresh mountain air. Enjoy the skiing break in one of the restaurants or huts.

Funpark Rienza
Snowboarder, Freestyler and Ski performer are happy: At the new Funpark they can have a lot of action and fun. The Funpark is located at the skiing area Rienza at the entrance of the Landro Valley.
Children-friendly ski resorts at and around Dobbiaco
1 chair lift and 2 ski lifts at the "Rienza" ski slope provide 4 km of slopes of easy to medium difficulty. The "Trenker" slope offers the perfect prerequisites for young talents. A children's park with magic carpet and mini ski lift is available for our youngest skiers. At the "Fun for kids" children are going together on treasure hunting, with a lot of fun, games and a racy tour with the snowmobile. The family-friendly "Monte Baranci" and "Croda Rossa" ski resorts are ideal for children, but also for professionals. A plus: a ski shuttle connects all cable cars with each other.
