For many years, all sorts of legends and stories surrounding the Valley of Sesto / Sextental and Alta Pusteria / Hochpustertal valleys have been recounted and passed down in Sesto / Sexten. Drawing on this multitude of stories, the village of Sesto has now developed it is own special “Fabel Path”. Figures from the various different legends have been positioned along the path, giving visitors an insight into another world.

Starting in Sesto, you will reach the spellbinding Fable Path via the Contemplation Path. It ends at the mountain station Helm / Mt. Elmo. Less experienced walkers can reach the Fable Path heading downhill from the Monte Elmo / Helm mountain station.

Walking time: start Sesto church: ca. 3 hours (with 700 m altitude in rise); start mountain station Helm / Mt. Elmo: ca. 1.5 hours (with 700 m altitude in descent)

Route number: start Sesto church: on the Contemplation Path to the Waldkapelle and on number 4 to the mountain station Helm / Mt. Elmo; start mountain station Helm / Mt. Elmo: number 4 to the Waldkapelle and on the Contemplation Path to the Sesto church
