Walk around Sesto
The path consists of two parts and leads around Sesto. This is an easy, yet interesting hike. The first part (approx. 3 hours with stop at the stations) on the north-eastern part of the valley covers the historic part in seven “stations” with the Sesto sundial, legends, the “Spitzköfele”, fauna, history, Sesto millstones and the water mill.
On the south side you get to know more about nature with the age of trees, the traces of animals, mushrooms, roots, the Heideck Fortess, woodpeckers, larch meadows and the South Tyrolean nature parks (walking time including stop approx. 2 hours). Both parts con also be combined with each other. The theme path is an easy hike with minimal difference in altitude, hence also ideal for children.
