During the past few years, Villabassa has developed into a type of "soccer Mecca" for training camps, where in addition to the Padova Calcio soccer club, also other renowned clubs like TSV 1860 Munich Amateurs, Treviso FBC, Apoel Nikosia, Olympiakos, and Rugby Roma have had their training camps.
