Winter hikes for families starting in Villabassa

Villabassa - Pian di Maia - Camping Olympia - Villabassa
Family hike, easy ascent to Bagni Pian di Maia, round hike in the direction of Camping Olympia and along the river back to Villabassa.

Villabassa - Santa Maria - Villabassa
The walk starts at Piazza Von Kurz along the Rienza River in an easterly direction. You cross the attractive Kurpark, an oasis of peace, which you should also visit in winter. At the end of the Kurpark you walk past Hotel Weiherbad and stay to the left. A small ascent rewards your effort with a splendid view of the surrounding mountain world. To your left you'll see the Santa Maria place of pilgrimage on a hill. A visit to the pilgrimage church with its beautiful altar is recommended.
