The Alta Pusteria (Hochpustertal) - Three Peaks Country is situated in the East of South Tyrol. It is the high valley of the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage. The white dolomite and the green meadows and forests shape the landscape. The Three Peaks are among the most famous peaks in the Alpine region and constitute a major part of Alpine history.
Alta Pusteria is best discovered actively, through hikes and cycle tours. In winter the Three Peaks Country delights you with its panoramic ski pistes in the heart of the Dolomites and 200 km of perfectly prepared linked cross country ski tracks with guaranteed snow.
With the Gustav Mahler music weeks, the Alto Adige Festival, the Grand Hotel, the First World War open-air museum and many other museums the Alta Pusteria offers plenty of culture.
