Heugabel

farmer market and more

As one of the oldest market villages of the South Tyrol, San Candido will follow the tradition of the farmer's market with a demanding and innovative programm. The project is called "Heugabel" and describes the farmer market and the farmer life... here you find the program of the weeks from September 8th to September 22nd 2012:

 

Visit on a farm
In the afternoon, after a little walk we will reach a farm where we get insight into the life of the farmer. There we'll also have a little snack. 

The mill
Nobody knows more about flour and grain as a miller. We start to a mill and after two hours we will know a lot of interest things about it. 

Course for cooking
Hearty South Tyrolean cooking or classic cucina italiana: in Alta Pusteria you may enjoy both. Ýou have the possibility to participate at a course for cooking. 

Walking from farm to farm at the mount San Candido
Walking past by different farms we have a wonderful view of the Dolomites. At the farm Mehlhof we can see the Tree Peaks. 

Chees production
You have the possibility to visit the production of chees at a farmer. Certainly the products can be degustated afterwards.
