Take your time and enjoy one of the many excursion and hiking destinations in Villabassa and its surroundings. Adventurous excursions, discovering the world of minerals, or playing at the playground in the Kurpark in Villabassa - the children will simply love it! You can cross the Rienza River on a suspension bridge and get to the "adventure land" for children from 12 years of age. We also recommend participating in the professionally guided nature hikes in the Nature Parks.
Alta Pusteria Climbing and Cycling Paradise
Villabassa is the ideal starting point for demanding climbing and trekking tours in the reign of the "Pale Mountains". Certified mountain guides accompany, so you can reach your goal safely.
And mountain-bike professionals can prove themselves at the yearly South Tyrol Dolomiti Superbike - one of the most important mountain-bike competitions in Europe: 119.9 km long and 3,822 metres of difference in altitude characterise this mountain-bike marathon. However, you can also choose the shorter tour of only 56.9 km and 1.688 metres of difference in altitude.
