From Ponticello you turn right before the bridge across the river onto a forest path; at the chapel turn right again to Malga Posta (Postmeisteralm - 1,951 m), continue upwards until shortly before the Portella (Törl - 2,391 m) and along the western slope to the summit.
Point of departure: Ponticello (1,491 m)
Arrive: Campo Cavallo Mountain (2,559 m)

Challenge: very demanding
Walking time: 3 ½ hours
Alternative: Malga Cavallo - Campo Cavallo Grande
From Cavallo Hut upwards to Kuhglättenpinggl Mountain (2,300 m); continue in a northerly direction to the big Val Cavallo and to the Sella dei Camosci saddle (2,443 m), then to the right and up steeply to the summit
Point of departure: Cavallo Hut (2,164 m)
