Sunrise excursions to the Helm
Do you want to experience a unique nature adventure in the Dolomites of Sesto? Between July and September the Helmbahn cabel cars "Sextner Dolomiten" (event depends on weather) organise sunrise excursions to the Helm. With the cable car to the Helm: starting time between 4 a.m. and 5 a.m. Afterwards hike of about 1 hour to the Helm Peak (2,432 m). While having breakfast (tea and brioche) near a warm camp fire you will experience the sunrise from high up in the mountains.
Walk around Sesto
The path consists of two parts and leads around Sesto. This is an easy, yet interesting hike. The first part (approx. 3 hours with stop at the stations) on the north-eastern part of the valley covers the historic part in 7 "stations". On the south side you get to know more about nature (walking time including stop approx. 2 hours). Both parts con also be combined with each other. The theme path is an easy hike with minimal difference in altitude, hence also ideal for children.
