Sextner Dolomiten Alta Pusteria: the most beautiful cross-country region
Sesto, the village of the Three Peaks in the Alta Pusteria Valley offer more than 200 km of perfectly groomed cross-country tracks, and are part of the biggest cross-country association in the world, Dolomiti Nordicski (1,300 km of cross-country slopes in the Dolomites, snow guaranteed from 23rd of December and unitary fees).
Cross-country skiing is one of the most beautiful ways to reach the heaven of Sesto - you are always amidst splendid natural landscape. The traces in the snow lead into the romantic Fischleintal Valley to the bottom of the Einserkofel Mountain, where the Dolomite walls are only a stone's throw away. Or choose the alpine track: the cross-country track leads from Mitterberg along the sunny slope and forests to the Nemes Alm pasture and the Coltrondo pasture (3 huts open also in winter).
