Dobbiaco - Lienz: along the Drava River
This route features a well sign-posted cycling path and is suitable for all types of bicycles. The point of departure in Dobbiaco lies about 500 metres above the destination Lienz, hence the 46 km can be cycled without any major effort. The tour is ideal for families with children and for beginners. Return to San Candido comfortably by train with a wagon reserved for bicycles.

Dobbiaco - Dobbiaco Lake - Cortina
Easy mountain-bike tour along the old railway line from Dobbiaco to Cortina.
Point of departure: Dobbiaco
End: Cortina
Route: In Dobbiaco Nuova you turn into the Via del Lago (lake road) and cycle to the cross-country stadium, where the cycling path starts. Past Dobbiaco Lake and Landro Lake to the Cimabanche Pass and down to Cortina.

Dobbiaco - Brunico cycling path
Easy cycling path, also suitable for families. Tip: return by train!

End: Brunico
Route: In Dobbiaco Nuova after the railway crossing turn right into the Via Rienza road. Cycle along the river on the cycling path past Villabassa, Monguelfo and Valdaora, and further on to Brunico.

Route: In Dobbiaco Vecchia after the parish church you turn right to Costanosellari, follow the road and after approx. 1 km turn left in the direction of Lachwiesen Hut. From Lachwiesen Hut via a gravel path to the S. Silvestro Chapel and the Malga S. Silvestro pasture. From here downhill to S. Silvestro and back to Dobbiaco.

Dobbiaco - Franadega - Casies - Monguelfo - Dobbiaco
Demanding mountain-bike tour in the adjacent Casies Valley.
Point of departure: Dobbiaco
End: Dobbiaco
Route: From Dobbiaco in the direction of S. Silvestro and further on to the harbour called Franadega. Via a forest path to the Casies Valley. From here out of the valley in the direction of Monguelfo, where you can take the cycling path back to Dobbiaco.
